The sexual maturity of women is that moment when they most enjoy sex. The normal thing has always been to believe that this moment comes after the age of 20. However, that’s when there are no overnight worries, friends with benefits and true first loves arrive. However, new research claims that the age at which women have the best and most satisfying sex is actually 36.
Commissioned by the contraceptive app Natural Cycles, 2,600 women were asked about various topics. For example, their experience of orgasms, feelings of attraction, and how much they enjoyed sex. Their responses were analyzed by age group: youngest (under 23 years old), medium (23-35), and older (36 years or older).
When it comes to sex appeal, women 36 and older proved to be the safest on their skin with eight out of 10 saying they felt sexy. However, only four out of 10 women in the middle group said they were happy with their appearance; while seven out of 10 women under the age of 23 said the same.

Older women also scored the highest when the climax came. Nearly six in 10 reported more frequent and better orgasms. In contrast, only five out of ten said the same in the younger women’s groups. Similarly, 86% of the older group said they had great sex in the past four weeks; compared to 76% in the middle group and only 56% of the youngest.
When it comes to frequency, less than a third of the women surveyed said they had sex twice a week; more than a fifth three times a week; and less than a fifth were intimate only once a week. The results also showed that one in three women said they felt that sex should last longer; while one in ten felt they should have finished faster.
